Dr. Martin Kaatz

Dr. Kaatz has an illustrious career in veterinary medicine, along with years of education and research under his belt. In 2000, he completed Boehringer Ingelheim’s registered laboratory technician program, and attended the University of Medicine in Hannover, Germany, that same year. He graduated in 2006 and for the next 3 years, collected data for the PhD program “BSE pathogenesis in cattle” at the Friedrich Loeffler Institute, at the National Institute for Animal Health. In 2015, Dr. Kaatz obtained a “Certificate of Qualification”, successfully completed his PhD, and joined LAC as a professional service veterinarian.

Dr. Kaatz loves his family, his German Shorthaired Pointers, and his cows. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, biking, fishing, and camping.
